Highland Eclipse Cover Reveal
The wonderful ladies over at Under the Covers Book Blog featured Highland Eclipse on their Covers to Covet today! Wow! So now I can share with you the fabulous cover for Eclipse Agent Declan Wallace and Lady Fiona McClure.
You can add this to your Goodreads shelf now too by clicking here
Previously published in the Shades of Pink anthology, Highland Eclipse is a short story set in the Magic of the Highlands world as the beginning to a new series about the Time Ops Eclipse Agents.
A member of an elite Time Ops team called the Eclipse Agents, Declan Wallace’s job is to jump through time. He maintains order in the timeline, he hunts down those who would time jump for their own purposes. But sometime Fate intervenes.
After a lifetime of living with illness, Lady Fiona McClure is proving to herself that she is finally healthy in an attempt to swim across the loch. If she makes it, maybe then her overprotective father won’t treat her as a child anymore. When she is snatched and dragged ashore by a man who thought she was drowning, her heart races for reasons that have nothing to do with the swim and everything to do with the man standing before her.
With a mission to finish, Declan can’t allow distractions, and Lady Fiona is definitely a distraction. But he’s discovering that living for the next mission isn’t as exciting as it used to be. Staying in the past is forbidden, but Fiona McClure is his destiny.

Highland Eclipse Release Date!
So I've got a gorgeous cover made for me once more by LFD Designs but the catch is...I can't show it to you. Not yet at least. There will be a big reveal over at Under the Covers Book Blog and Got Fiction? Book Blog on Friday.
But I'll announce the release date will be February 25, 2014. It's about a month away.
This is the story Highland Eclipse which was in the anthology Shades of Pink. It's not very long, but it's the start to my cross-over series called the Eclipse Agents. It's a Time Ops Romance and it's going to have some visitors from those MacRae men.
I'm still working on Liam's story, which I have scrapped and started over. I kept getting stuck at the same place, and I felt if that was the case, I needed a change. So providing the baby lets me, I'll be working hard at getting both Liam's book Highland Betrayal, and another Nightkind story out this year.
And this weekend I'll update the website with the new and utterly gorgeous cover for Highland Eclipse.
In the meantime, don't forget to stop by Under the Covers Book Blog this Friday, and Got Fiction? Book Blog as well.

Cover Reveal: Shades of Pink Anthology
As you may know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. For this occasion, 33 authors have allied for 1 cause: fundraising for research. Their gift to everyone who makes a donation? A romance anthology (ebook) titled Shades of Pink, totaling over 200.000 words / about 500 pages as a PDF.
This anthology has 33 short stories, all connected through the running theme of Pink. From paranormal romance to sweet contemporaries, you'll find a handful of vampires, about four dozen humans including fighters, cursed humans, reincarnated souls, footballers, time travelers, bosses, secretaries, writers, rock stars, teens, witches, soldiers, wives, husbands and fiancés, 1 succubus, 1 genie, 1 extra-terrestrial princess, a few gods and goddesses, a pack of werewolves.
Hi guys! I wanted to share something pretty awesome with you. I have a short story coming out in the Shades of Pink Anthology that releases October 1st. I am so excited and I wanted the first people to see the cover to be you guys! This anthology has everything from erotica to sweet romance, from paranormal to YA. I think with 33 authors that there is truly something for everyone in this anthology.
My short story is called Highland Eclipse and it’s a cross-over from my Magic of the Highlands series. This story deals with the Time Ops, or the Eclipse Agents. Their job is to keep the timeline fluid. Anyone who tries to jump back in time without permission is hunted down. But what happens when it’s their own hunter who jumps time?
There are so many more stories, and all proceeds go to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. The book isn’t for sale, it’s donation only, and I’ll put the links here so you can add it to your goodreads shelf, and check out Kallysten’s blog. She has done an amazing job getting this all together.
Goodreads Page
Here
you’ll find teasers for all the stories, interviews of the authors
posted during all of October, and of course the link where you can
donate and help this worthy cause.

My Real Life Romance Trope
Guess who's Real Life Romance Trope made it into RT Magazine?! Oh yeah! I've just copy/pasted it into this post since I don't think you can read it from the picture. But it's so cool! So many wonderful readers have been tweeting me that they saw it :) Thanks guys!
"Way back in the year 2000, I was driving down the Strip with my friend and her guy. I was in the back seat of her Jeep Wrangler, and this red sports car kept following us. After a while, we both got caught at a red light, and this super cute guy shouts "Hey! Is that your boyfriend?" at me.
I look around and shout back, "If he were my boyfriend, he'd be sitting right here!" and I patted the seat next to me. He took that as an invitation to sit right next to me.
This guy gets out of his car, runs to the Jeep, and jumps in next to me!
I'm pressed against this seat, avoiding him. I say, "Hi, uh, do this often?"
"Nope, first time." and he introduces himself. He and his friend have very similar names, so for like a week, I called him the wrong name (oops!).
I told him I was 20, so he said we was 20, too.
After a while, I realize he isn't some crazy yahoo who's randomly climbing in people's cars, and we relax and drive up and down the Strip.
He tells me he's a firefighter, and that he's in the Air Force, and we talk til 4am. At this point, we separate to get our cars, and I think he's following me home. I called him on it the next day, and it turns out we live near each other.
So we sort of start to date, and he and I get more serious. a couple months go by, and he finally tells me that he has to get something off his chest. I'm freaking out thinking he's married, or he is a felon, or any crazy scheme.
He tells me he's only 18 (by now I had turned 21), and that the night we met he actually was still in high school!
After I finished freaking out, he also told me that he was shipping out for Basic Training for the Air Force to become a firefighter. I think I freaked out a bit more, and he asked me to wait for him. (to be honest, I think I told him no). But I did.
And he also told me that the night we met, he'd been looking to get laid. Ha ha, joke's on him. He only got a goodnight kiss...And apparently a C in Government because he had a test the next day, but he'd been out til 4am with me.
And now, it's been almost 11 years, and 2 kids with a third on the way.I still laugh to think I called him the wrong name, and that he completely lied to me about his age, his job, and everything. But, if he hadn't been so bold, we would never have met. And for a man who says he doesn't believe in love at first sight, he tells me often that the second he saw me, he knew I was for him."

Hey guys! Thanks to Suzi from twitter for asking about Highland Games and when it would be on Amazon. I had no idea it wasn't up yet! After badgering my editor and publisher, I found out it was supposed to be up a month or so ago when it went up at Barnes & Noble! I guess Amazon dropped the ball, but that being said, hey guess what? It's up now!!! And thank you all :)
